Alex Ju, Founder and CEO of Chindata Group, Featured in the POWER 100 List

Recently, CAPACITY, a renowned magazine in the telecommunication world has announced its annual Power 100 listing, on which 100 of the most influential people in the digital infrastructure community were chosen for their pioneering spirit and great achievements. Alex Ju, founder and CEO of Chindata Group was on the list for his outstanding exploration and contribution in the next-generation of hyperscale data centers. Furthermore, his interview was published as a cover story in the latest April/May 2020 issue of CAPACITY.

This was the second time that Alex Ju won the global awards after he took first place in the APAC 50 Awards (The top 50 data center and cloud influencers from across Asia Pacific) in early May 2020.

Alex Ju is a pioneer in the development of hyperscale digital infrastructure in China. So far, he has built data center campus of more than 1,000MW, with total investment exceeding 10 billion US dollars, becoming one of the leaders in global digital infrastructure development and construction.

The interview article, titled "Chindata Group: Bridging the Digital Divide", published in the same issue of CAPACITY mainly introduces the next-generation of hyperscale data center infrastructure becoming the bedrock of digital society, in a world when global digitization is surging, the performance of data in all its forms is more critical today than ever.

"My lifelong wish is to provide customers and their end users with products that exceed expectations and allow more people to use cheaper but better digital services." Alex Ju told CAPACITY in the interview. He has always incorporated the concept of "digital inclusiveness" into the development of each hyperscale data center campus, and uniquely combined the needs of the digital economy, the friendly use of renewable energy and the digital infrastructure.

Most recently, Chindata Group has built China's first hyperscale data center campus in the metropolitan area, pan-Beijing area. The Group has also introduced its hyperscale infrastructure solution into the international markets outside of China where Bridge Data Centres, its subsidiary is working alongside to grow the pan-Asian hyperscale digital infrastructure platform where digital leaders can scale their business infinitely with the Group's global expertise and resources.

To top it off, Chindata Group was ranked No. 1 in the renewable energy performance ranking among Chinese Internet technology companies by "Greenpeace" in early 2020.
